Ingeborg Brams
Ingeborg Brams (; 9 December 1921 – 14 October 1989) was a Danish film, radio, television and theatre actress. She was born in Hobro, Denmark and died in Denmark. She appeared in 11 films between 1941 and 1957 plus several TV and radio plays, perhaps best remembered as a revered theater actress with a long connection to the Royal Danish Theatre lasting 18 years and countless performances to her credit. In the early 1960s she would start to develop a growing severe stage fright then spent the last twenty years of her life mainly with public book readings, in churches and theatres as well as more radio work. Her step-granddaughter is the Danish recorder player Michala Petri. Hobro
Hobro () is an old market and railway town in Region Nordjylland on the Jutland peninsula in northern Denmark. It has a population of 12,071 (1 January 2022). The town is situated in a hilly terrain at the head of Mariager Fjord, close to the former Viking fortress of Fyrkat. It is the seat of Mariagerfjord municipality. Politics Hobro was until 1 January 2007 also a municipality ( Danish, '' kommune'') in North Jutland County covering an area of 166 km² and with a total population of 15,318 (2005). Its last mayor was Jørgen Pontoppidan, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. Hobro municipality ceased to exist due to ''Kommunalreformen'' ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It was merged with Arden, Hadsund, and Mariager municipalities to form the new Mariagerfjord municipality. This created a municipality with an area of 769 km² and a total population of 43,049 (2005). Michala Petri
Michala Petri (born July 7, 1958) is a Danish recorder player. Her debut as a soloist was in 1969. She is the step-granddaughter of Danish actress Ingeborg Brams. Biography Petri, who began playing the recorder at the age of three, is noted for her virtuosity and versatility across a wide range of styles, from the baroque repertoire of the height of the instrument's popularity to contemporary works written particularly for her. She first played on Danish Radio at the age of five, and her debut performance as a soloist was at Copenhagen's Tivoli concert hall in 1969 when she was 11.
