Hayden (musician)
Paul Hayden Desser (born February 12, 1971) who records as Hayden, is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Thornhill, Ontario. His early works are a largely eclectic mix of genres from grunge to alternative country, as demonstrated by his first full album, ''Everything I Long For'', released in 1995. Since then his work has become progressively more refined. Early life and education Desser's father is Sherwin Desser, a retired University of Toronto professor of parasitology and current visual artist. Crazyhead are an English garage punk band from Leicester, England. Though lumped in with the largely media-created grebo scene, they were more influenced by the garage rock of the late 1960s, as well as bands like The Ramones, The Stooges and Captain Beefheart. ''Rip Foster Rides the Gray Planet'' is a Young adult fiction, young adult science fiction novel written by Harold L. Goodwin under the pseudonym Blake Savage. The novel was originally published by Whitman Publishing Company, Whitman in hardcover in 1952 and reprinted in the United Kingdom later in the same year as ''Rip Foster Rides the Grey Planet'' (note the spelling of "gray/grey"). There were two subsequent American reprints under different titles: another hardcover edition as ''Assignment in Space with Rip Foster'' in 1958 and a paperback edition as ''Rip Foster in Ride the Gray Planet'', in 1969. Under all titles combined, there were approximately 100,000 copies of the novel printed. The first edition was illustrated by E. Deane Cate and the 1958 edition by Denny McMains. Acoustic Rock
Acoustic music is music that solely or primarily uses instruments that produce sound through acoustic means, as opposed to electric or electronic means. While all music was once acoustic, the retronym "acoustic music" appeared after the advent of electric instruments, such as the electric guitar, electric violin, electric organ and synthesizer.
