Ilakkanam
''Ilakkanam'' () is a 2006 Indian Tamil language drama film directed by Chandraseyan, making his directorial debut. The film stars newcomer Vishnupriyan and Uma, with Vinu Chakravarthy, Bala Singh, Kadhal Sukumar, Chitti Babu, Sathyapriya, Anjali Devi, Sabitha Anand, Rohini and Rajashree playing supporting roles. The film, produced by M. C. Shanmugam, was released on 22 December 2006. The film won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award Special Prize for Best Film. Plot In August 2005, the old protagonist Thamizharasan ( Vishnupriyan) remembering his past. In the past, Thamizharasan was an idealist and respectful young man who was fond of literature and he wanted to change society for the better. Bhavatharini
Bhavatharini Raja (23 July 1976 – 25 January 2024) was an Indian playback singer and composer. She was the only daughter of noted composer Ilaiyaraaja and sister of Yuvan Shankar Raja and Karthik Raja. Starting her career in the 1990s, she mostly sang songs under the direction of her father and brothers. She was awarded the National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer in 2000 for her rendition of the song "Mayil Pola Ponnu Onnu" from the film ''Bharathi (2000 film), Bharathi'', composed by her father. Vishnupriyan
Vishnupriyan is an Indian actor, who has appeared in lead roles in Tamil language films. Career Vishnupriyan made his acting debut in Adoor Gopalakrishnan's Malayalam film ''Nizhalkuthu'' (2002), and has since portrayed leading and supporting roles in Malayalam and Tamil cinema.
