IPS’AIR
IPS'AIR is a French airshow started in 2020. It is located in Ivry-sur-Seine, close to Paris. It is organized by the ''grande école'' ''Institut polytechnique des sciences avancées'', one of the most important aerospace College in France. It is held yearly in February. The 4th edition took place from the 9 to the 21st of February 2023. Presentation The flight simulators are representative of the world of aviation, from the Dassault Mirage 2000 to the Republic P-47 Thunderbolt, through the Airbus A320, the Boeing 777 and the Bell 206. Some engines, such as those of the Dassault Rafale or the Jaguar are also exposed thanks to a partnership with Safran. Conferences related to the aeronautical current events take place. For example, in 2023 Yann Arthus-Bertrand was invited to talk about his book "''Mars Terre, destins croisés''". An art exhibition completes the festival. The Institut Polytechnique des Sciences Avancées (IPSA), () is a French private ''grande école'' in aerospace engineering located at Ivry-sur-Seine, Lyon and Toulouse, recognized by the French state since 2010, whose diploma has been accredited by the French Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur since 2011. It was founded in 1961 and has been part of IONIS Education Group since 1998. History From creation to integration into IONIS Education group IPSA was founded in 1961 in Paris by Michel Cazin, the private secretary of Louis de Broglie and a teacher at the mechanical department of CNAM, Maurice Pradier and Paul Lefort. An air show (or airshow, air fair, air tattoo) is a public event where aircraft are trade fair, exhibited. They often include aerobatics demonstrations, without which they are called "static air shows" with aircraft parked on the ground. The largest air show measured by number of exhibitors and size of exhibit space is Paris Air Show, Le Bourget, followed by Farnborough Airshow, Farnborough, with the Dubai Airshow and Singapore Airshow both claiming third place. C215 is the moniker of Christian Guémy, a French street artist from Paris who has been described as "France's answer to Banksy". Artwork C215 primarily uses Stencil, stencils to produce his art.
