Marquis Huan Of Cai
Marquis Huan of Cai (蔡桓侯) (?–695 BC), born Jī Fēngrén (姫封人), was the twelve ruler of the State of Cai from 715 BC to 695 BC. He was the only known son of Marquis Xuan of Cai (蔡宣侯), his predecessor. His reign was a period of 20 years. He was succeeded by his son. The Three Huan ({{zh, c=三桓, p=Sān Huán) refers to three aristocratic clans, all descendants of Duke Huan of Lu, in the State of Lu, which dominated the government affairs, displacing the power of the dukes, for nearly three centuries during the Spring and Autumn period. They are the Jisun (季孫) or Ji, Mengsun (孟孫) or Meng, and Shusun (叔孫) clans. Etymology The characters Bo, Meng, Zhong, Shu and Ji are originally ordinals used in courtesy names to indicate a person's rank among his or her siblings of the same gender who survived to adulthood. The eldest brother's courtesy name would be prefixed with the word "Bo" (or "Meng" if he was born to a secondary wife), the second with "Zhong", the youngest with "Ji", and the rest with "Shu". For instance, Confucius' courtesy name was Zhongni. Huan River
The Huan River (), or Anyang River (), is a river in Henan, China, and part of the Hai River basin. The river rises north of Linzhou in northwestern Henan, and joins the Wei River near Neihuang in the northeast of the province. The site of Yinxu, in the village of Xiaotun within present-day Anyang on the south bank of the river, has been identified as the last capital of the Shang dynasty, occupied between the 13th and 11th centuries BCE. A walled city and palace complex at Huanbei on the north bank, occupied in the second half of the 14th century BCE, was destroyed at the time Yinxu was built. Huan County
Huan County or Huanxian () is an administrative district in eastern Gansu province, China at the junction of three provinces: Gansu, Shaanxi to the northeast, and Ningxia to the west and northwest. It is under the administration of the prefecture-level city of Qingyang. Its postal code is 745700, and the population in 2019 was 316703. Huanxian is known as one of the first places in China where agriculture was practiced. It was part of ancient Yongzhou. In 994 it was known as Huanzhou. In 1369 it became known as Huanxian. Zhang Huan
Zhang Huan (; born 1965) is a Chinese artist based in Shanghai and New York City. He began his career as a painter and then transitioned to performance art before making a comeback to painting. He is primarily known for his performance work, but also makes photographs and sculpture. Early life and education Zhang was born in Anyang, Henan Province and named Dong Ming () as a tribute to Chairman Mao. At the age of one, he was sent to live in rural Tangyin County for eight years with his grandmother. He received his B.A. from Henan University in Kaifeng (1988) and his M.A. from the China Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing (1993); he changed his name to Zhang Huan in the 1990s when he started his studies at the Central Academy. Liu Huan (born August 26, 1963, in Tianjin) is a Chinese singer and songwriter. He is one of China's modern era pioneers in pop music. He combines his music career with teaching the history of Western music at the Beijing University of International Business and Economics in Beijing. Early life On August 26, 1963, Liu Huan was born into a family of teachers in Tianjin. Liu graduated from Yaohua High School in Tianjin in 1981. Four years later, he graduated from the University of International Relations in Beijing, majoring in French literature. Lee Huan (; 8 February 19172 December 2010) was a Taiwanese politician. He was Premier of the Republic of China from 1989 to 1990, serving for one year under former President Lee Teng-hui.
