Csaba Horváth (born 5 June 1968) is a Hungarian Grandmaster (GM) (1993), two-times Hungarian Chess Championship winner (1994, 1998). Biography In 1984–1988 Csaba Horváth five times represented Hungary at World Youth Chess Championships and European Youth Chess Championships. He was one of the best Hungarian chess players in the 1990s. Csaba Horváth has competed in the Hungarian Chess Championships finals many times and twice winning gold medals (1994, 1998). Csaba Horváth (chemical Engineer)
Csaba Horváth (25 January 1930 – 13 April 2004) was a Hungarian-American chemical engineer, particularly noted for building the first high-performance liquid chromatograph. Early life and education Csaba Horváth was born in Szolnok, Hungary and graduated in chemical engineering from the Budapest Institute of Technology. In 1956 he went to West Germany to work for Hoechst AG. He then studied physical chemistry at the J.W. Goethe University in Frankfurt, receiving his Ph.D. in 1963. Career In 1964 he joined Yale School of Medicine. From 1967 he also had an appointment in the Faculty of Engineering. In 1972 he joined the Department of Chemical Engineering at Yale, becoming full Professor in 1979 and Chair of the Department from 1987 to 1993. He was named as Roberto Goizueta Professor of Chemical Engineering in 1998. He died on 13 April 2004, at Yale-New Haven Hospital of a stroke. Ádám Horváth (born 14 July 1981) is a Hungarian chess Grandmaster (GM) (2002), Hungarian Chess Championship winner (2015), European Junior Chess Championship winner (2000). Gergely Horváth
Gergely Horváth (; born 5 June 1975 in Budapest) is a retired Hungarian male javelin thrower and seven time national champion. His personal best throw is 81.55 metres, achieved in August 2003 in Nyíregyháza, which is also the Hungarian national record. In 2007 Horváth was found guilty of boldenone doping. The sample was delivered on 22 July 2006 in an in-competition test in Debrecen. He received a suspension by the IAAF from September 2006 to September 2008, as well as disqualification of all results accomplished since the day he was tested.
