Hoodslam
Hoodslam is an underground professional wrestling event that takes place in Oakland, California. Created in 2010 by Sam Khandaghabadi as a regular gathering for wrestlers who wanted to perform edgier acts for adults, Hoodslam quickly became a popular event in the Bay Area, attracting over 1,000 attendees at each monthly performance. Hoodslam performances combine the athleticism and tropes of professional wrestling with more bizarre, absurd characters, as well as profanity, sexuality, and public consumption of drugs and alcohol, which are not considered appropriate at mainstream professional wrestling events. She is currently signed to WWE, where she performs on the SmackDown brand under the ring name Shotzi (shortened from her previous ring name Shotzi Blackheart). David Heath (wrestler)
David William Heath (born February 16, 1969) is an American semi-retired professional wrestler. He is best known for his appearances in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) from 1998 to 2001 and intermittently throughout the mid-2000s under the ring name Gangrel. Tourettes Without Regrets
Tourettes Without Regrets is an underground performance art show in Oakland, California. Founded in 1999, ''Tourettes Without Regrets'' is hosted by comedian/filmmaker Jamie DeWolf (who does not have Tourette syndrome) and occurs every first Thursday of the month at the Oakland Metro Opera House. Part poetry slam, part circus and part rap battle, the event incorporates audience participation and an open mic, billing itself as "the Fight Club of underground art." Development DeWolf does not have Tourette syndrome, although he told KALW that "I've been accused of having Tourette's ever since I was a young child." After being banned from local open mics in his hometowns of Benicia and Vallejo for his raw subject matter, poet DeWolf created ''Tourettes Without Regrets'' in 1999 to showcase unfiltered slam poetry performances. HHG Corporation, doing business as Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), was a professional wrestling promotion and media company that was based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The promotion was founded in 1992 by Tod Gordon as National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) affiliate Eastern Championship Wrestling. Kazuo Sonny Onoo (born July 29, 1962) is a Japanese-American professional wrestling manager, and actor better known by his ring name Sonny Onoo. He is best known for his appearances with World Championship Wrestling between 1995 and 1999 as the manager of many of the promotion's Japanese performers.
