Heshima Thompson
Heshima Salim Thompson ( ; born 23 October 1986) is a British actor and singer. Born in the London Borough of Brent, son of Jamaican Reggae singer Dr Alimantado and brother of soul singer Zalon. In 2001, Heshima began his career singing on BBC Documentary Heart of Harlesden, he was scouted from the documentary to play a lead role in BBC’s ''Babyfather''. He has appeared on television in ''Spooks (TV series), Spooks,'' ''Spooks: Code 9'' as Jez, ''Prime Suspect (UK TV series), Prime Suspect'', ''Casualty (TV series), Casualty'', ''City Lights (ITV series), City Lights and'' ''Judge John Deed.'' In theatre he has appeared at The Young Vic in ''Generations'' and at The Royal Court in ''Incomplete and Random Acts of Violence''. In 2009, he was nominated for a Screen Nation Award in the Young Shooting Star category. Heshima toured with Amy Winehouse along with brother Zalon on her ''Back to Black'' album which was only scheduled to last for 3 months, but the tour was so successful ... London Borough Of Brent
The London Borough of Brent () is a London borough in north-west London. It borders the boroughs of Harrow to the north-west, Barnet to the north-east, Camden to the east, the City of Westminster to the south-east, as well as the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham and Ealing to the south. Most of the eastern border is formed by the Roman road Watling Street, which is now the modern A5. Brent's population is estimated to be 329,771. Major districts are Kilburn, Willesden, Wembley and Harlesden, with sub-districts Stonebridge, Kingsbury, Kensal Green and Queen's Park. Brent has a mixture of residential, industrial and commercial land. It includes many districts of inner-city character in the east and a more distinct suburban character in the west, part of which formed part of the early 20th century Metroland developments.
