The Voice (French TV Series)
''The Voice : La plus belle voix'' () is a reality singing competition on TF1. It is France's version of '' The Voice'' format created by John de Mol. The first episode was aired on 25 February 2012. It is the second time that the format has been produced in French after the Belgian version '' The Voice Belgique''. One of the important premises of the show is the quality of the singing talent. Four coaches, themselves popular performing artists, train the talents on their team and occasionally perform with them. Talents are selected in blind auditions, where the coaches cannot see, but only hear the auditioning contestant. Zone Rouge
The ''Zone Rouge'' (English: Red Zone) is a chain of non-contiguous areas throughout northeastern France that the French government isolated after the First World War. The land, which originally covered more than , was deemed too physically and environmentally damaged by conflict for human habitation. Rather than attempt to immediately clean up the former battlefields, the land was allowed to return to nature. Arthur (born Jacques Essebag; 10 March 1966) is a French television presenter, producer and comedian. After dropping from law studies, he began his career as a host on local radio in the Paris region in the late 1980s. In the early 1990s, he found a certain notoriety by presenting programs on Fun Radio, Europe 1 and Europe 2 (''Arthur et les pirates'', ''PlanetArthur'' and ''Radio Arthur''). Deal Or No Deal
''Deal or No Deal'' is the name of several closely related television game shows, the first of which (launching the format) was the Dutch '' Miljoenenjacht'' (''Hunt/Chase for Millions''). The centerpiece of this format is the final round (a.k.a. the "case game" or "main game" ) which is played with up to 26 cases (or, in some versions, boxes), each containing randomly assigned sums of money. After the player for the case game is determined, this contender claims (or is assigned) one case or a box at the start of the game, without its contents being revealed. The contestant then chooses the other cases or boxes, one at a time, to be immediately opened and removed from play. ''À prendre ou à laisser'' (''Take it or leave it'') is the French version of the television game show ''Deal or No Deal''. It was premiered on 12 January 2004 on TF1. It is hosted by Arthur, the former vice-president of Endemol-France and a popular radio presenter. There are 22 boxes representing the 22 régions of France, with each contestant coming from that region. The prizes range from €0.01 to €500,000 and include (normally) three "joke" prizes (e.g. a cup or a coat hanger) and a "joker", containing an amount determined by the number of contestants who answer the "selection-question" correctly. The "joker" is €10,000 (sometimes €30,000) multiplied by the number of correct answers. There has been at least seven winners of the €500,000 prize. Crésus was the first French version of the Argentine quiz show ''El Legado'' that debuted on commercial station TF1 on July 4, 2005, presented by Vincent Lagaf'. Following a strong summer ratings run, the show was recommissioned, and began its second run in January 2006. Its third and final run ended at the beginning of September 2006. The show's name was derived from a French proverb, to be 'riche comme Crésus'. Croesus was a notoriously wealthy king of Lydia from 561/560 to 547 BC, and participates in the show as a resurrected, computer-generated skeleton that interjects insults and additional knowledge alongside Lagaf'.
