Hernâni Coelho
Hernâni Filomena Maria Coelho da Silva (born 27 August 1964), also known by his '' nom de guerre'' Natan, is an East Timorese politician and diplomat, and a member of the Fretilin political party. He has been the East Timorese Ambassador to both Australia and South Korea. Between February 2015 and September 2017, he was Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, and from October 2017 to June 2018 he was Minister of Petroleum. Early life and education Coelho was born in , in the then Portuguese Timor, to Adelino da Silva from Ossu and Zulmira Celestina Faria Coelho. He has eight siblings, including the KHUNTO politician and the Socialist Party of Timor (PST) chairman Avelino Coelho da Silva. From 1971 to 1975, Coelho attended elementary school and Catholic boarding school in Ainaro. Portuguese Timor
Portuguese Timor ( pt, Timor Português) was a colonial possession of Portugal that existed between 1702 and 1975. During most of this period, Portugal shared the island of Timor with the Dutch East Indies. The first Europeans to arrive in the region were the Portuguese in 1515.West, p. 198. Avelino Coelho Da Silva
Avelino Maria Coelho da Silva (b. Laclubar, Manatuto) was one of the candidates in the Presidential Elections in East Timor in April 2007. He became involved in the clandestine resistance while he studied International Relations and Law in Jakarta. He is the leader of the Socialist Party of Timor (PST), which had a member in the National Parliament from 2002 to 2007. In the 2007 presidential election, Avelino took seventh place with 2.06% of the vote. Purwokerto
Purwokerto is a large but non-autonomous town on the island of Java, Indonesia. It is the capital of Banyumas Regency, Central Java province. Magelang
Magelang () is one of six cities in Central Java that are administratively independent of the regencies in which they lie geographically. Venilale
Venilale (formerly Vila Viçosa) is a town located about 30 km south of Baucau in East Timor. It is the capital of the Venilale Administrative Post. Tourism Venilale has been a popular destination, even in the Portuguese colonial era, known for its cooler temperatures, natural attractions such as hot springs and a natural bridge and the striking Escola do Reino de Venilale. More recently it has become famous for its caves, built by the Japanese during World War Two and for being used as a hiding place for FRETLIN freedom fighters during the Indonesian occupation. However it is important to respect and acknowledge the cultural significance of some of these sacred sites, make sure you have the permission of the locals and the Xefe suku before exploring the area.
