Heo Ung
Heo Ung (born August 5, 1993) is a South Korean professional basketball player. He plays for Jeonju KCC Egis in the Korean Basketball League and the South Korean national team. Early life Heo only began focusing on basketball in middle school, relatively late compared to many of his KBL peers, as his father, retired basketball player and coach Hur Jae, had been staunchly opposed to him and his younger brother becoming professional athletes. He spent a year and a half of his elementary school years in the United States when his father was sent for coaching training and worked as a coach at Pepperdine University. During this period, he and his brother were among the few Asians at their school and played basketball to escape being targets of racism and bullying. The 2016 William Jones Cup was the 38th staging of William Jones Cup, an international basketball tournament. The men's tournament was held from 23–31 July 2016 at the Hsinchuang Gymnasium in New Taipei City, Taiwan. The women's tournament was held from 3–7 August 2016. Korea University–Yonsei University Rivalry
The Korea–Yonsei rivalry is the college rivalry between two universities located in Seoul, South Korea, Yonsei University and Korea University. Located within the same city, the campuses are only thirty minutes apart. Korea University's symbol and mascot is the Tiger and Yonsei University's is the Eagle. Hence, match-ups between the two institutions are referred to as "Tigers vs Eagles". Since 1956, the annual Yonsei-Korea (Korea-Yonsei) games have served as the most hotly contested collegiate rivalries in the country. Hur Jae (born September 28, 1965) is a South Korean retired basketball coach and former player. His playing and coaching career combined spanned over three decades, beginning during the semi-professional era and coinciding with the establishment of the professional Korean Basketball League (KBL).
