Henry Ravenshaw Thuillier
Colonel Sir Henry Ravenshaw Thuillier, (1838–1922) was a British Army officer and the Surveyor General of India from 1887 to 1895. Thuillier was the son of Henry Edward Landor Thuillier, also Surveyor General of India. Colonel (United Kingdom)
Colonel (Col) is a rank of the British Army and Royal Marines, ranking below brigadier, and above lieutenant colonel. British colonels are not usually field commanders; typically they serve as staff officers between field commands at battalion and brigade level. Major General Sir Henry Fleetwood Thuillier, (30 March 1868 – 11 June 1953) was a British Army officer who played a significant part in the development of gas warfare.
