Helen Kalandadze
Helen Kalandadze ( ka, ელენე კალანდაძე) is a Georgian television presenter and singer. She co-hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Tbilisi alongside Lizi Pop. Life and career Early life Kalandadze was born in Tbilisi. She attended secondary school in Woluwe-Saint-Pierre in Brussels, before returning to Georgia to attend Ilia State University. She graduated from the Faculty of Business Administration and Tourism Management in 2011. Career In 2009, Kalandadze participated in the Georgian version of ''Star Academy''. She later began working in television presenting. In 2010, Kaladadze performed as a backing singer to Sofia Nizharadze at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010. Liza Japaridze ( ka, ლიზა ჯაფარიძე; born 19 September 2004), known professionally as Lizi Pop ( ka, ლიზი პოპი), is a Georgian singer, actress, model, dancer and television presenter. She represented Georgia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Malta with the song " Happy Day" and co-hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Tbilisi with Helen Kalandadze. Life and career Early life Liza Japaridze was born on 19 September 2004 in Tbilisi. She studies at the Georgian-American School. Japaridze speaks English, Russian and French, in addition to her native Georgian. The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 was the 18th edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest, organised by Telewizja Polska (TVP) and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). The contest took place on 29 November 2020, and was held in Warsaw, Poland, following the country's victory at the contest with the song "Superhero (Viki Gabor song), Superhero" by Viki Gabor. This was the first time the contest was held in the same country for two consecutive years. The Belarusian entry for the 2017 contest in Tbilisi, Georgia was selected through a national final organised by the Belarusian broadcaster National State Television and Radio Company of the Republic of Belarus (BTRC). The Junior Eurovision Song Contest is an annual international song competition, held every year by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) since 2003.
