China Railway High-speed (CRH) is a high-speed rail service operated by China Railway. The introduction of CRH series was a major part of the sixth national railway speedup, implemented on April 18, 2007. By the end of 2020, China Railway High-speed provided service to all provinces in China, and operated just under passenger tracks in length, accounting for about two-thirds of the world's high-speed rail tracks in commercial service. China has revealed plans to extend the HSR to 70,000 km by year 2035. Shaoxing (; ) is a prefecture-level city on the southern shore of Hangzhou Bay in northeastern Zhejiang province, China. It was formerly known as Kuaiji and Shanyin and abbreviated in Chinese as (''Yuè'') from the area's former inhabitants. Located on the south bank of the Qiantang River estuary, it borders Ningbo to the east, Taizhou to the southeast, Jinhua to the southwest, and Hangzhou to the west. Hangzhoudong (Hangzhou East) railway station () is a railway station located in Shangcheng District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang, People's Republic of China. Originally built as a small station serving the Shanghai-Kunming railway, it has been rebuilt as a high-speed rail hub, which became operational on 1 July 2013. History The old station opened in 1992, located on Tiancheng Road. It was closed on 20 January 2010, and demolished.
