Cinema Of Karnataka
Kannada cinema, also known as Sandalwood, or Chandanavana, is the segment of Cinema of India, Indian cinema dedicated to the production of motion pictures in the Kannada language widely spoken in the state of Karnataka. Kannada cinema is based in Gandhi Nagar, Bengaluru. The 1934 film ''Sati Sulochana'' directed by Y. V. Rao was the first talkie film released in the Kannada language. It was also the first film starring Subbaiah Naidu and Tripuramba, and the first screened in the erstwhile Mysore Kingdom. It was produced by Chamanlal Doongaji, who in 1932 founded ''South India Movietone'' in Bengaluru. Major literary works have been adapted to the Kannada screen, such as B. V. Manoranjan Ravichandran
Manoranjan Ravichandran is an Indian actor who appears in Kannada films. The son of Kannada film star actor-director V. Ravichandran, Manoranjan made his debut with the Kannada film '' Saheba'' (2017), directed by Bharath, which was released to mixed reviews, but earned him good reviews. Danish Sait (born 1 July 1988) is an Indian comedian, television host, and film actor who prominently works in Kannada cinema. Career Danish Sait worked as a radio jockey for ''Supari'' on Fever 104 FM in 2013. ''Humble Politiciann Nograj'' is a 2018 Indian Kannada-language satire comedy film written and directed by Saad Khan. The film stars Danish Sait, who plays the title character of Nograj, a narcissistic politician.
