Hilde Marie Kjersem
Hilde Marie Kjersem, also known as Marie Munroe, (born 27 April 1981 in Ålesund, Norway) is a Norwegian artist, musician and songwriter signed to Warner Music Norway. She started out as a jazz musician, but has had an organic and natural development towards the world of pop. In January 2016, Marie Munroe released her fourth solo album called ''Under My Skin.'' Munroe har been nominated for two Norwegian Grammy Awards (Spellemannprisen), and has collaborated with some of Norway's most talented musicians - among them Sivert Høyem og Bernhoft. Career Munroe started her career early, and already as a teenager, she toured with Rikskonsertene, and at sixteen she joined the rock and rap band San Jose. She studied jazz at The Norwegian Academy of Music. At the academy she had the Norwegian guitarist Jon Eberson as her mentor, which turned into a great musical collaboration and three album releases since 2005. Hilde Louise Asbjørnsen (born 3 June 1976 in Sykkylven Municipality, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz singer, songwriter, cabaret artist and songwriter, known from her own releases and appearances. Career After moving to Oslo in 1996 she studied Science Theatre at Theatre science department, University of Oslo (1996–2001), and initiated the duo «Asbjørnsen & Joh.» together with Lene Kongsvik Johansen (''Noraprisen'', ''Nye eventyr'', ''I tykt og tynt'' and ). Moreover, she released several albums and toured widely. The Gammleng Award () is a Norwegian culture award created by ''The Fund for Performing Artists'' in 1982, 25 years after the fund was established in 1957. The award's official name is the ''Rolf Gammleng award to performing artists'' (). It's awarded to artists who have in a meritorious way contributed on recordings, stage performances, or concerts. Susanna Karolina Wallumrød (born 23 June 1979) is a Norwegian vocalist, known for her low key original songs. She was born in Kongsberg, and is the sister of the drummer Fredrik Wallumrød and the pianist Christian Wallumrød; she is the cousin of the pianist David Wallumrød, and is married to the music producer Helge Sten. __NOTOC__ Curling Legs Productions A/S (established 1992 in Oslo, Norway) is a Norwegian record label with a catalogue encompassing all styles of jazz and improvised music. It was started by Knut Værnes and Morten Halle to release their own music. In 1994, Odin Records was licensed to Curling Legs from the Norwegian Jazz Forum, to continue the production of Norwegian jazz. In addition to Værnes and Halle, the third co-owner of Curling Legs is Helge Westbye, the director of the record label Grappa Music, and the label is part of FONO.
