Hideaki Takatori
(born March 4, 1967) is a Japanese singer, songwriter, and composer from Tokyo, known for his contributions to the ''anison'' genre. Career Takatori debuted in 1994 as vocalist for the band Weather Side. Four years later, as a member of the band COA with his younger brother Nobukazu Takatori, he performed the opening theme "Chase the Wind" of '' Grander Musashi RV''. That marked Takatori's transition to anime and tokusatsu music. His debut solo performance was the opening theme to ''Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger'': . This was followed by the '' Transformers: Armada'' opening , the ''Sonic X'' opening "SONIC DRIVE", and the '' Kinnikuman II'' opening "Trust yourself". is a genre of music originating from Japanese pop music. Anime songs consist of theme, insert, and image songs for anime, manga, video game, and audio drama CD series, as well as any other song released primarily for the anime market, including music from Japanese Voice acting in Japan, voice actors. The anime song genre was first defined as a musical category in the 1970s. It later gained popularity from the public when mainstream artists begin releasing songs as tie-ins for anime series. was a Japanese music project led by producer Koichi Fujita from 1983 to 1995. With the help of composers Tetsuji Hayashi, Tsunehiro Izumi, and Hiroshi Shinkawa, the project had three different bands with three different lead vocalists: Kiyotaka Sugiyama (1983–1985), Carlos Toshiki (1986–1991), and Masahito Arai (1993–1994). Under Fujita's directions, recordings were performed by studio musicians and production handled by the project's production team. The project has been described as helping form the city pop sound, especially with the project's usage of summer and sea themes.
