Heideman Award
The Heideman Award is given each year to the winner of the National Ten-Minute Play Contest, a competition hosted by Actors Theatre of Louisville. Actors Theatre Of Louisville
Actors Theatre of Louisville is a non-profit performing arts theater located in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. Actors Theatre was founded in 1964 following the merging of two local companies, Actors, Inc. and Theatre Louisville, operated by Louisville natives Ewel Cornett and Richard Block. Designated as the "State Theater of Kentucky" in 1974, in 2002 the theatre was described by the National Endowment for the Arts as "one of America's most consistently innovative professional theatre companies", with an annual attendance of 150,000. Caleen Sinnette Jennings
Caleen Sinnette Jennings is an American actor, director, and playwright. She is a professor of performing arts at American University College of Arts and Sciences. Jennings is the author of the plays "Queens Girl in the World" and "Queens Girl in Africa." Education Jennings completed a Bachelor of Arts in drama from Bennington College. She earned a master of fine arts in acting from New York University Tisch School of the Arts. Sheri Wilner
Sheri Wilner (born January 22, 1969) is an American playwright. Her works have been produced at the Humana Festival of New American Plays, the Guthrie Theater, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Primary Stages Einhorn School of Performing Arts (ESPA), Williamstown Theatre Festival, Naked Angels, Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, Cherry Lane Theatre Alternative, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Women's Project Theater, and the Philadelphia Theatre Company.
