Harry Gorringe
Harrison Reginald Gorringe (7 March 1928 – 25 June 2017) was a first-class cricketer who played for Western Australia from 1951 to 1958. A right-arm fast-medium bowler, Gorringe was a regular member of the West Australian team for eight seasons. His best performance came in the Sheffield Shield in 1952-53 when he took 3 for 82 and 8 for 56 against Queensland at the WACA in Perth. Carlisle is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia. Its local government area is the Town of Victoria Park. Western Australia Cricket Team
The Western Australian men's cricket team, formerly nicknamed the Western Warriors, represent the Australian state of Western Australia in Australian domestic cricket. First-class Cricket
First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is of three or more days scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Matches must allow for the teams to play two innings each, although in practice a team might play only one innings or none at all. The WACA Ground () is a sports stadium in Perth, Western Australia. The stadium's name derives from the initials of its owners and operators, the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA). Perth Cricket Club is a cricket team based in Perth, Western Australia. The club competes in the Western Australian Grade Cricket (Premier cricket) competition.
