Halocyprididae
Halocypridae is a family of ostracods in the order Halocyprida. Some members are bioluminescent, such as ''Conchoecia pseudodiscophora'', and are believed to use coelenterazine and a coelenterazine luciferase, rather than vargulin. Genera The following genera are recognised in the family Halocyprididae: *''Alacia'' *''Archiconchoecemma'' *''Archiconchoecerra'' *''Archiconchoecetta'' *''Archiconchoecia'' *''Archiconchoecilla'' *''Archiconchoecinna'' *''Archiconchoecissa'' *''Austrinoecia'' *''Bathyconchoecetta'' *''Bathyconchoecia'' *''Boroecia'' *''Chavturia'' *''Clausoecia'' *''Conchoecetta'' *''Conchoecia'' *''Conchoecilla'' *''Conchoecissa'' *''Deeveyoecia'' *''Discoconchoecia'' *''Euconchoecia'' *''Fellia'' *''Gaussicia'' *''Halocypretta'' *''Halocypria'' *''Halocypris'' *''Hyalocoecia'' *''Juryoecia'' *''Kyrtoecia'' *''Lophuroecia'' *''Loricoecia'' *''Macrochoecilla'' *''Macroconchoecia'' *''Mamilloecia'' *''Metaconchoecia'' *''Mikroconch ...

Conchoecia
''Conchoecia'' is a genus of ostracods in the subfamily Conchoeciinae. The genus contains bioluminescent species. ''Conchoecia'' have a coelenterazine luciferin based bioluminescent system, unlike the cypridinid luciferin based system found in the Cypridinidae Cypridinidae is a family of ostracods. About half of all known species are bioluminescent Bioluminescence is the emission of light during a chemiluminescence reaction by living organisms. Bioluminescence occurs in multifarious organisms r .... Species The following species are recognised in the genus ''Conchoecia'': *'' Conchoecia angustipilata'' *'' Conchoecia belgicae'' *'' Conchoecia giesbrechti'' *'' Conchoecia glandulosa'' *'' Conchoecia hettacra'' *'' Conchoecia indica'' *'' Conchoecia isocheira'' *'' Conchoecia kyrtophora'' *'' Conchoecia leptothrix'' *'' Conchoecia magna'' *'' Conchoecia rudyakovi'' *'' Conchoecia sculpta'' *'' Conchoecia subarcuata'' *'' Conchoecia teretivalvata'' Se ...
