Habit Heroes
Habit Heroes was an interactive exhibit located within Innoventions East at Epcot in Walt Disney World. The health and wellness exhibit, which focused on healthy habits and ways to fight bad habits, soft-opened on February 4, 2012. Habit Heroes was lambasted by medical experts for personifying bad habits as villains, with claims that it body-shamed and stigmatized obese and overweight individuals. Due to this, Disney closed the attraction just days before its scheduled public opening on March 5, 2012. After research and consultation with medical experts, the attraction was retooled with a new storyline complete with new characters. It eventually opened to the public on January 18, 2013. Without warning, Disney permanently closed the attraction three years later on January 17, 2016. Innoventions (Epcot)
Innoventions was an ever-changing collection of exhibits at the Epcot, EPCOT theme park in Walt Disney World, Florida. It focused on technological advancements and their practical applications in everyday life. Innoventions is a portmanteau of the words "innovation" and "invention". History Innoventions first opened on July 1, 1994, replacing Communicore in EPCOT. When the attraction opened, it prominently displayed games from various Sega consoles in an arcade style. The exhibit also featured virtual reality systems that used head-mounted displays. Innoventions is divided into two buildings known as Innoventions East and Innoventions West. (also known as ''Toy Story Mania!'') is an interactive 4-D theme park attraction, located at three Disney theme parks: Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney California Adventure and Tokyo DisneySea. Wonders Of Life
The Wonders of Life pavilion was an attraction at Epcot at Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Located inside a golden colored dome between Mission: SPACE (formerly Horizons) and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind (formerly Universe of Energy), it was devoted to health care, focusing on the human body, physical fitness, medicine and nutrition. Attractions included Body Wars and Cranium Command. It opened on October 19, 1989, and closed on January 1, 2007. From 2007 to 2018, the Pavilion acted as EPCOT's Festival Center, before becoming a construction site in March 2019 in preparation for the Play!
