H.P. Baxxter
Hans Peter Geerdes (born 16 March 1964), professionally known by his stage name H.P. Baxxter, is a German musician who is best known as the lead vocalist of the German techno band Scooter. He founded Scooter with his friend Rick J. Jordan in 1993. Biography Early life Baxxter studied accountancy for one term in Hanover, but he ultimately completed a scholarship in Birmingham, England, as a mechanic. Music career In 1985, Baxxter founded the band Celebrate the Nun, together with Rick J. Jordan and his sister Britt Maxime. Their single "Will You Be There" from the album ''Meanwhile'' reached No. 2 on the ''Autobahn'' Dance/Club Play chart on 23 June 1990, whereas the single " She's a Secretary"/"Strange" reached No. 12 on Dance/Club Play chart on 8 December of the same year. Leer, Lower Saxony
Leer is a town in the district of Leer, in the northwestern part of Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated on the river Leda, a tributary of the river Ems, near the border with the Netherlands. With 34,958 inhabitants (2021), it is the third-largest city in East Frisia after Emden and Aurich. It has a railway and autobahn connection to Groningen, Netherlands, Emden, Bremen and the South (Rheine and the Ruhrpott industrial region). Geography Leer had been a settlement long before it was first mentioned in written documents. East Frisians (german: Ostfriesen, stq, Aastefräisen) are, in the wider sense, the inhabitants of East Frisia in the northwest of the German state of Lower Saxony. ''X Factor'' is the German version of '' The X Factor'', a show originating from the United Kingdom. It is a television music talent show contested by aspiring pop singers drawn from public auditions. The show's inaugural German season started in August 2010. RTL broadcast the first two kick-off shows. The other episodes have been shown on VOX. Both channels are part of Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland.
