Guye Adola
Guye Adola Idemo (born 20 October 1990) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner who specialises in the half marathon. Born in Adola in Ethiopia's Oromiya Region, he began training with Gianni Demadonna's group and came to prominence in 2014. His first high level race was the Marrakech Half Marathon in January that year, which he won in a best of 61:26 minutes. He then placed fourth at the Ethiopian half marathon championships. His international debut shortly followed and he was Ethiopia's best performer at the 2014 IAAF World Half Marathon Championships, taking the individual bronze medal in a personal best of 59:21 minutes to lead the Ethiopian men to third in the team competition. Following his first major medals, he ran on the circuit and took third at the Giro Media Blenio in Switzerland and the Luanda Half Marathon in Angola. The 2014 IAAF World Half Marathon Championships took place on March 29, 2014. The races were held in Copenhagen, Denmark. Delhi Half Marathon
Airtel Delhi Half Marathon (ADHM) is an annual half marathon foot-race held in New Delhi, India. Established in 2005, it is both an elite runner and mass participation event. It is an AIMS-certified course and is listed as a Gold Label Road Race by the IAAF. The race has seen the best of the athletes competing since the course is considered one of the fastest half marathon route. Ethiopians are the native inhabitants of Ethiopia, as well as the global diaspora of Ethiopia. 2021 Berlin Marathon
The 2021 Berlin Marathon was a marathon race held on 26 September 2021. It was the 47th edition of the annual Berlin Marathon. It was the first edition of the Berlin Marathon to take place after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019. The 2020 Berlin Marathon was cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The race was the first of the five World Marathon Majors held in 2021; all the events in the series took place in the space of six weeks between late September and early November. The marathon distance is just over in length and the course is run around the city and starts and finishes in the Tiergarten. Eliud Kipchoge ( ; born 5 November 1984) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who competes in the marathon and formerly specialized at the 5000 metre distance.
