Guy Côté
Guy Côté (born December 30, 1965) is a Canadian politician and salesman. Côté was the Member of Parliament for the riding of Portneuf—Jacques-Cartier from 2004–2006. Born in Quebec City, Quebec, Côté has been involved in many non-profit organizations in Portneuf, among other things, serving as a School commissioner in Portneuf, Quebec (2003–2004) before being elected to the House of Commons of Canada in the 2004 federal election for the Bloc Québécois, a left-wing separatist party, in the riding of Portneuf—Jacques-Cartier. Côté is a former salesman. He worked briefly as a salesman for CKNa local radio station of his riding. He has also been assistant to the former Bloc MP of Portneuf. Claude Duplain
Claude Duplain (born January 10, 1954) is a Canadian politician. He was elected as the Member of Parliament for Portneuf, as the candidate of the Liberal Party of Canada, during the 37th Parliament (which sat from January 2001 through May 2004). During that time he served as a member of the Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food and the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage. Claude Duplain has been president of Construction du Grand Portneuf, a general construction company, since 1996. He is deeply involved in the economic development of the region of Portneuf. From 1993 to 1996, he was president and shareholder of Construction du Grand Portneuf. The term can also less be used to refer to an appointed member of the Senate. André Arthur (December 21, 1943 – May 8, 2022) was a Canadian radio host and politician. He was the independent Member of Parliament for the riding of Portneuf—Jacques-Cartier from 2006 to 2011. Gilles Loiselle, (20 May 1929 – 29 September 2022) was a Canadian politician. Loiselle was born in Ville-Marie, Quebec on 20 May 1929. He worked as the correspondent for CBC News in Paris for a decade before being appointed the government of Quebec's agent-general in the United Kingdom in 1977. He represented Quebec to the British government when the federal government of Canada was negotiating the Patriation of the Constitution of Canada from Britain in the 1980s.
