Roland Gumpert
Roland Gumpert (born 10 December 1944) is a German engineer and founder of the sports car manufacturer Apollo Automobil. Gumpert is currently the managing director of the sports car manufacturer Gumpert Aiways Automobile, in which he also founded. Biography Engineer at Audi Gumpert studied mechanical engineering at the Graz University of Technology. After graduating as a graduate engineer, he worked from 1969 as a test engineer for vehicle development at Audi AG in Ingolstadt. From 1972 he then worked as a test manager and type supervisor for the Audi 50. In 1974, Gumpert became head of the pre-development and testing department. Between 1975 and 1977, he developed a motorcycle for Audi, the Z02, which was rejected by the responsible Volkswagen manager. Martin Gumpert
Early life Gumpert was born on 13 November 1897 in Berlin to his parents Ely, a doctor, and Elise. In 1923 he married Charlotte Blaschko, also a doctor, who died of tuberculosis in 1933. The couple had a daughter, Nina, who was born in around 1927. Gumpert trained as a doctor in Berlin and Heidelberg, working as a medical orderly during the First World War. His 1923 dissertation was on the history of syphilis, and he went on to write texts on pediatrics and developmental deformity. He studied in Paris in 1928. Gumpert was a left-wing social activist and trade unionist and published expressionist poetry. 1933 to 1936 In 1933 Gumpert was forced out of his medical position by the Nazi rise to power. Over the next few years he wrote several texts of literature and the history of science and medicine. Friedrich Adolph Gumpert (27 April 1841, Lichtenau (Thüringen) – 31 December 1906, Leipzig) was a German horn player and teacher. Gumpert received his early musical education in Jena. From 1860 he was a horn player, first in Bad Nauheim, then (after completing his military service) in Halle. In October 1864, at the behest of Carl Reinecke, he became First Horn in the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, a position he held until 1899. He was a founder member of the Gewandhaus-Bläserquintett, formed in 1896. Gumpert was Professor of Horn at the Leipzig Conservatory from 1882 until his death. Thomas Gumpert (11 December 1952 – 7 January 2021) was a German actor who was best known for his role of Johannes von Lahnstein in the daily soap ''Verbotene Liebe''. Life Gumpert was born in 1952 in the East German city of Lauchhammer, in Bezirk Cottbus. He studied acting from 1972 to 1976 in Leipzig. Since 1972 Thomas Gumpert played many roles at the Deutschen Nationaltheater in Weimar. He also played in Berlin, Hamburg, Dortmund and Frankfurt.
