Guldpucken
Guldpucken (''The Golden Puck'') is awarded annually to the ice hockey player of the year in Sweden. It is similar to the NHL's Hart Memorial Trophy. Normally it goes to a player in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL), the top-level ice hockey league in Sweden. It should not be confused with Guldhjälmen (''The Golden Helmet''), the award for the most valuable player according to the players in the SHL. Modo Hockey
Modo Hockey (or MoDo with uppercase letters) is a professional ice hockey club in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. The team plays in Sweden's second-tier league HockeyAllsvenskan. The club was founded in 1987 and has won one SHL championships; in 2007. The team's home arena since 2006 is the Hägglunds Arena (previously known as ''Fjällräven Center'' and ''Swedbank Arena''). Before then, the team played at Kempehallen, beginning in 1964. Victor Hedman
Victor Erik Olof Hedman (; born 18 December 1990) is a Swedish professional ice hockey defenseman and alternate captain for the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League (NHL). Hedman was selected second overall by the Lightning in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. Widely considered to be one of the best defensemen in the NHL, Hedman is a five-time James Norris Memorial Trophy finalist, winning the award in 2018. Hedman won back-to-back Stanley Cups with the Lightning in 2020 and 2021, and won the Conn Smythe Trophy as the most valuable player in the 2020 playoffs. Swedish Hockey League
The Swedish Hockey League (officially SHL; sv, Svenska Hockeyligan) is a professional ice hockey league, and the highest division in the Swedish ice hockey system. The league currently consists of 14 teams. The league was founded in 1975, and while Swedish ice hockey champions have been crowned through various formats since 1922, the title and the Le Mat Trophy have been awarded to the winner of the SHL playoffs since the league's inaugural 1975–76 season. In the 2010–11 season, the SHL was the world's most evenly matched professional ice hockey league. During the 2011–12 season, the SHL was the most well attended ice hockey league in Europe, averaging 6,385 spectators per game, however in 2013–14, the SHL was third best in Europe, with an attendance average of 5,978. Guldhjälmen (''The Gold Helmet'') is a Swedish ice hockey award, which is awarded annually to the's most valuable player of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) and of the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) as decided by a vote of each league’s players. First awarded in the SHL in 1986, the Guldhjälmen is sponsored by the Swedish hockey magazine ''Hockey'' in cooperation with Jofa. It is considered one of the most prestigious ice hockey prizes in Sweden. It is similar to the country's Viking Award, presented to the top Swede playing in North America as determined by player vote, and the NHL's Ted Lindsay Award, an MVP award also voted on by the players. It should not be confused with Guldpucken ''(Golden Puck)'', which is awarded by ''Expressen'' and the Swedish Ice Hockey Association to the Swedish Player of the Year. Peter Forsberg
Peter Mattias Forsberg (; born 20 July 1973) is a Swedish former professional ice hockey player and former assistant general manager of Modo Hockey. Nicknamed "Peter the Great" and "Foppa", Forsberg was known for his on-ice vision and physical play, and is considered one of the greatest players of all time. Although his career was shortened by persistent injuries, , he stands ninth all-time in career points-per-game and fifth all-time in career assists-per-game in the NHL, only behind Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, Bobby Orr, and Connor McDavid. In 2017 Forsberg was named one of the '100 Greatest NHL Players' in history. Skellefteå AIK is a Swedish professional ice hockey club from Skellefteå, Sweden. They currently play In the Swedish Hockey League. HV71 (), often referred to as just HV, is a Swedish professional ice hockey club based in Jönköping, playing in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL), the first tier of Swedish ice hockey. The team played in the 2008–09 Champions Hockey League season, and also participates in the new Champions Hockey League tournament since the 2014–15 season. Between 2008 and 2013, HV also participated in the European Trophy tournament. Anders Andersson (ice Hockey)
Åke Anders "Akka" Andersson (2 January 1937 – 15 December 1989) was a Swedish ice hockey centre in the 1950s and 1960s. He played 132 international games for Sweden, including seven IIHF World Championships and two Winter Olympics, in 1960 and 1964. Andersson played on the famous "Mosquito Line" with Eilert Määttä and Kalle Hedlund. In Sweden, Andersson played for Skellefteå AIK from 1956 to 1966 and Färjestads BK from 1966 to 1969.
