Grenoble-Alpes Métropole
Grenoble-Alpes Métropole is the ''métropole'', an intercommunal structure, centred on the city of Grenoble. It is located in the Isère department, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, eastern France. It was created in January 2015, replacing the previous ''Communauté d'agglomération de Grenoble''. Its area is 545.5 km2. Its population was 445,059 in 2018, of which 157,650 in Grenoble proper.Comparateur de territoire

Miribel-Lanchâtre
Miribel-Lanchâtre (; oc, Mirabèu e L'Enchastre) is a commune in the Isère department in south-eastern France. Geography It is located about south of Grenoble exposed on the south-east slopes of the Vercors balcony, stretching over several hamlets in the canton of Monestier de Clermont. The main village is Lanchâtre with its church, castle, town-hall, primary school and typical buildings from an old village. The hamlet Le Vernay lies uphill a mountain road and offers a nice lookout at the cross. There is an ancient farm still working with most modest methods and always worth a visit. Miribel-Lanchâtre is the starting point of many walking tracks in the lower Vercors with splendid views over the Trièves landscape bordered by the Obiou massif at the opposite end about away. Meylan
Meylan (; frp, Mèlan) is a commune in the Isère department in southeastern France. It is part of the Grenoble urban unit (agglomeration). Population Misuse of public money In 2013, the newly reelected Mayor of Meylan Marie-Christine Tardy was brought to justice for unlawfully taking interest in an affair concerning her husband's remuneration.
