The Greek football PSAP awards are a number of awards given annually by the Greek Union of Professional Football Players (PSAP). These awards are given annually to players playing in the Superleague Greece, Football League and Football League 2. Superleague Greece
The Super League Greece 1 ( el, Ελληνική Σούπερ Λιγκ 1), or Super League 1, is the highest professional association football league in Greece. The league was formed on 16 July 2006 and replaced ''Alpha Ethniki'' at the top of the Greek football league system. It consists of 14 teams and runs from August to May, with teams playing 26 games. As of May 2022, Super League Greece is ranked 15th in the UEFA ranking of leagues, based on performances in European competitions over the last five years. Since the foundation of the first official Panhellenic Championship in 1927, only six clubs have won the title. The current champions are Olympiacos, based in Piraeus. Vasilios Tsiartas ( el, Βασίλειος Τσιάρτας; born 12 November 1972) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. Although he was famed for his lackadaisical playing style, his ability was never in question and he was in many ways the epitome of a classic "number 10" player. ''"El Mago"'', as was his nickname, was naturally left-footed but was just as dangerous with his right foot. Pantelis Konstantinidis
Pantelis Konstantinidis (Greek: Παντελής Κωνσταντινίδης; born 16 August 1975) is a Greek former footballer. He was born in Florina. Konstantinidis played as a left winger for most of his career, earning the nickname ''Svouras'' (''spinning top'') for his quick dribbling in his youth. During 2010 Konstantinidis took the position of the Technical Director to PAOK FC, succeeding Zisis Vryzas. He could also play as a defender. Career He has played for many clubs in Greece starting his career with AEK Athens in 1993, but did not make a single appearance. He was on loan to AO Kavala for two years. Georgios Karagkounis ( el, Γεώργιος Καραγκούνης; born 6 March 1977), known as Giorgos Karagounis ( el, Γιώργος Καραγκούνης), is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. In his club career, Karagounis played for Panathinaikos, Apollon Smyrnis, Inter Milan, Benfica and Fulham. At international level, Karagounis represented Greece between 1999 and 2014. Dimitrios Eleftheropoulos (Greek: Δημήτριος Ελευθερόπουλος; born 7 August 1976) is a Greek professional football manager and former player, who is the current manager of Super League 2 club Niki Volos. Kostas Frantzeskos ( el, Κώστας Φραντζέσκος, born 4 January 1969) is a Greek professional football manager and former player. Frantzeskos is better known for his deadly free-kick accuracy. He scored 57 free kick goals during his career. Career As a youngster, Kostas played for Vouliagmeni. He started his Football A Division career in Panathinaikos, after they picked him up in 1990. He was very quick to adapt and soon made his 1st division debut, in a very successful season, with Panathinaikos winning the double. Christos Kostis ( el, Χρήστος Κωστής, born 15 January 1972) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a forward. Kostis is widely regarded to be one of the most technical players Greece has ever produced, but his great injury in 1997 stopped his from making a big career.
