Golf Instruction
Golf instruction is the art of equipping and training golfers to play better golf through improved awareness of swing cause and effects as a result of the actions by their body, the club, and their effect on the golf ball. Most great golfers have a few common elements that make them great including: proper intentionality, swing repeatability to produce an action that fits the golfers intentionality, and a strong level of automaticity for long lasting enjoyment of the game golf. Required skills Golf instruction consists of five primary skills: shots from a tee (most notable: driving that uses a driver), full shots from the ground (mostly known as "iron shots", pitching (or 3/4 shots designed for distance control, chipping (short shots around the green the require less than a full swing), putting (1 club preferably "the putter") and course strategy or gamesmanship. Golf
Golf is a club-and-ball sport in which players use various clubs to hit balls into a series of holes on a course in as few strokes as possible. Golf, unlike most ball games, cannot and does not use a standardized playing area, and coping with the varied terrains encountered on different courses is a key part of the game. Courses typically have either 18 or 9 ''holes'', regions of terrain that each contain a ''cup'', the hole that receives the ball. Each hole on a course contains a teeing ground to start from, and a putting green containing the cup. Mike Bennett And Andy Plummer
Mike Bennett (born December 12, 1967 in Jordan, New York) and Andy Plummer (born December 23, 1966 in Vanceburg, Kentucky) are a duo of golf instructors who have coached PGA Tour players Charlie Wi, Steve Elkington, Tom Scherrer, Grant Waite, Troy Matteson, Bill Lunde, Mike Weir and Aaron Baddeley, among others. World Golf Teachers Federation
The World Golf Teachers Federation (WGTF) is the umbrella body of various golf teaching federations around the world. Founded in 1993 as a collaboration between the United States Golf Teachers Federation and Europe, the WGTF has expanded to include 41 member federations. The WGTF provides an international standard for the training and certification of golf teaching professionals, and is the largest organization of golf teaching professionals worldwide. Peter Kostis
Peter Kostis (born December 23, 1947 in Sanford, Maine) is an American golf analyst and instructor. Among his many students are Paul Casey, Chez Reavie, Bernhard Langer, Steve Elkington, Dan Marino, Maury Povich, and Mike Schmidt. He has the Peter Kostis Learning Academy at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. Kostis also was the instructor who coached Kevin Costner in the film Tin Cup, also appearing as himself in a speaking role. An infomercial is a form of television commercial that resembles regular TV programming yet is intended to promote or sell a product, service or idea. It generally includes a toll-free telephone number or website. David T. Pelz is an American golf coach, known for his expertise and published writing on the art of the short game, particularly putting. Pelz's ''Short Game Bible'' was a ''New York Times'' "national best-seller" in 1999. Eleven of Pelz's professional students have won a total of 21 Major golf championships.
