Giovanni Vitrotti (1874–1966) was an Italian cinematographer and film director who worked prolifically in Italian films from the silent era onwards. The Caucasus () or Caucasia (), is a region between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, mainly comprising Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia (country), Georgia, and parts of Southern Russia. ''Villa Falconieri'' is a 1928 German-Italian silent drama film directed by Richard Oswald and starring Maria Jacobini, Hans Stüwe, and Eve Gray. It was based on the 1896 novel of the same title by Richard Voss. The film was shot at the Johannisthal Studios in Berlin and the Fert Studios in Berlin.
