Giorgio Panariello (born 30 September 1960 in Florence) is an Italian comedian, film and stage actor, director and television presenter. Biography Born in Florence to a father of Campanian origin, he raised in Cinquale, a seaside town in the province of Massa-Carrara. During his high school years in Marina di Massa he became close friend with Carlo Conti, disc jockey and local TV presenter, with whom he started his early career as comedian in Versilia. His very first sketches included a parody of singer Renato Zero, a role which gave him popularity and made him debut in RAI television with his friend Conti in the early 1990s. In 1996 he debuted as film actor in '' Albergo Roma'', directed by Ugo Chiti. In 1999 he directed his first feature, '' Bagnomaria'', a sketch comedy film centered on the characters of his popular stage shows. The Sanremo Music Festival 2006 was the 56th annual Sanremo Music Festival, held at the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo, province of Imperia, between late February and early March 2006 and broadcast by Rai 1. The show was presented by Italian comedian Giorgio Panariello, who also served as the artistic co-director, with showgirls Ilary Blasi and Victoria Cabello. It consisted of a competition between 30 songs, divided into four different categories—Men, Women, Groups and Newcomers. Vincenzo Salemme (born 24 July 1957) is an Italian actor, playwright, director and screenwriter. Life and career Born in Bacoli, Province of Naples, Salemme began his career in 1976, with the stage company of Tato Russo. The following year he joined the theatre crew of Eduardo De Filippo, later led by his son Luca, where he worked until 1992. In a 2018 interview, he said that De Filippo taught him to "''italianise"'' words in Neapolitan when not in Naples, so everybody could understand the play.
