State Route 135 (SR 135) is a state highway in the south-central part of the U.S. state of Georgia. It connects the Florida state line with Higgston, via Lakeland, Willacoochee, Douglas, and Hazlehurst. It travels concurrently with U.S. Route 221 for extensive distances, a short piece in Lakeland and a longer one from Douglas to Uvalda. Route description SR 135 begins at the Florida state line intersecting with County Road 141 (CR 141) south. In Echols County it intersects SR 94, and SR 376. SR 135 enters Lowndes County west of Valdosta. The only major junction in the county is with US 84/ SR 38. SR 135 then enters Lanier County south of Stoctkon. A state highway, state road, or state route (and the equivalent provincial highway, provincial road, or provincial route) is usually a road that is either ''numbered'' or ''maintained'' by a sub-national state or province. A road numbered by a state or province falls below numbered national highways (Canada being a notable exception to this rule) in the hierarchy (route numbers are used to aid navigation, and may or may not indicate ownership or maintenance). Georgia State Route 520
State Route 520 (SR 520), also known as the South Georgia Parkway, is a state highway in the southern part of the U.S. state of Georgia. It travels from the Alabama state line, at the Chattahoochee River, on the Phenix City, Alabama–Columbus, Georgia line, to Jekyll Island. It has many concurrencies along its path, including U.S. Route 280 (US 280) from the Alabama state line to Richland; US 27 from Columbus to Cusseta; and especially US 82 from Dawson to a point southwest of Brunswick. Georgia State Route 76
State Route 76 (SR 76) is a state highway in the southern part of the U.S. state of Georgia. It connects the Florida state line, south-southwest of Quitman, with the Nashville area, via Quitman, Morven, and Adel. Route description Starting at the Florida line south of Quitman in Brooks County, SR 76 heads north concurrent with U.S. Route 221 (US 221). Just south of Quitman, both roads merge with SR 333. In downtown Quitman, US 221 heads east, and SR 76/SR 333 stays concurrent. Just north of downtown, SR 76 splits off from SR 333. State Route 168 (SR 168) is a state highway that runs west–east through portions of Berrien, Lanier, and Clinch counties in the south-central part of the U.S. state of Georgia. Route description The route begins at an intersection with US 129/ SR 11/ SR 76/ SR 125 in Nashville. It heads southeast to an intersection with SR 64/ SR 135 north of Lakeland, where SR 64 begins a concurrency to the east. Farther to the east, SR 64 leaves the concurrency to the northeast. State Route 64 (SR 64) is a state highway that travels southwest-to-northeast through portions of Berrien, Lanier, Atkinson, and Coffee counties in the south-central part of the U.S. state of Georgia. The highway connects Ray City with Wilsonville, via Pearson. Route description SR 64 begins at an intersection with US 129/ SR 11/ SR 37 in Ray City. It heads to the north-northeast, through rural areas of Berrien County. The highway then enters Lanier County. It begins a concurrency with SR 135 just before crossing back into Berrien County. State Route 31 (SR 31) is a state highway that travels south-to-north through portions of Lowndes, Lanier, Clinch, Atkinson, Coffee, Telfair, Wheeler, Dodge, Laurens, and Johnson counties in the south-central part of the U.S. state of Georgia. Stockton is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Lanier County, Georgia, United States. Stockton is located in the far southern portion of the state on U.S. Highway 84, near Valdosta and Lakeland. The surrounding area produces tobacco, turpentine, pine lumber, and pulpwood. The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is the organization in charge of developing and maintaining all state and federal roadways in the U.S. state of Georgia. It connects Clyattville with the Statenville area, via Lake Park. The roadway was built in the late 1950s and designated as SR 376 in 1972.
