Alu Dadashevich Alkhanov (russian: link=no, Алу Дадашевич Алханов; born 20 January 1957) is a Russian politician and the former president of Russia's Chechen Republic. He is a career police officer who fought within the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces during the First Chechen War. He was elected as president on 30 August 2004. On 15 February 2007, Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed Alkhanov as the Chechen President and appointed him a Deputy Justice Minister of Russia. Also known as Bahadir Sari and Theodore Sariyev, ISKA oriental kickboxing rules heavyweight world champion in 2010. Buvadi Dakhiyev was a Chechen soldier; the commander of the Chechen OMON and active participants of the First and Second Wars in Chechnya. Biography Buvadi Dakhiev is born on 28 April 1968 in the town of Urus-Martan. Graduated from the Chechen State University. By education he was a teacher of history and social studies. In the first Chechen war he was the commander of the Chechen riot Police company. After the withdrawal of Federal troops from Chechnya, he lived in Moscow and Latvia. In 1994, when the first Chechen war began, Zelimkhan joined the Chechen fighters and fought in the mountains of Urus-Martan district. After the end of the First Chechen war Zelimkhan and his brothers took control of the city of Urus-Martan. During the second Chechen War, after the death of his brother Ramzan, he headed the Grozny Jamaat, where he conducted military operations against Russian troops and their allies. Died in 2002.
