Gaétan Barrette
Gaétan Barrette (born July 5, 1956) is a Canadian politician in Quebec, who was elected to the National Assembly of Quebec in the 2014 election. He represented the electoral district of La Pinière as a member of the Quebec Liberal Party until retiring from politics at the 2022 Quebec general election. Prior to his election to the legislature, he was a radiologist at Montreal's Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont. Djaouida Sellah () is a Canadian politician. Sellah represented the riding of Saint-Bruno—Saint-Hubert in the House of Commons from 2011 to 2015. Following her tenure in parliament, she served as president of the New Democratic Party of Quebec in 2018. Early life and career Sellah was born in Algiers, Algeria. Jean-Lesage is a provincial electoral district in the Capitale-Nationale region of Quebec, Canada that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It consists of parts of the Beauport and La Cité-Limoilou boroughs of Quebec City. It was created for the 2003 election from most of the former Limoilou and part of Montmorency electoral districts. Even earlier, before Limoilou, the electoral district of Québec-Est existed in the same general area. Gertrude Bourdon (ca 1955) is a Canadian health professional and politician. Bourdon was educated at the Polyvalente de Saint-Prosper and the Cégep Limoilou. She went on to study nursing at the Université Laval and public administration at the École nationale d'administration publique. In 2009, she was named director general for the Centre hospitalier universitaire de Québec (CHUQ). Terrebonne is a provincial electoral district in Quebec, Canada that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It consists of most but not all of the city of Terrebonne. It was created for the 1867 election (and an electoral district of that name existed earlier in the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Canada and the Legislative Assembly of Lower Canada). 2012 Quebec General Election
The 2012 Quebec general election took place in the Canadian province of Quebec on September 4, 2012. Lieutenant Governor Pierre Duchesne dissolved the National Assembly on August 1, 2012, following Premier Jean Charest's request. The Parti Québécois were elected to a minority government, with Pauline Marois becoming the first woman to be Premier of Quebec. The 2022 Quebec general election was held on October 3, 2022, to elect the members of the National Assembly of Quebec. Under the province's fixed election date law, passed in 2013, "the general election following the end of a Legislature shall be held on the first Monday of October of the fourth calendar year following the year that includes the last day of the previous Legislature", setting the date for October 3, 2022.
