Bradley Station is a bus station located in Gastonia, North Carolina, United States. It serves as a bus terminus for Gastonia Transit (GT) and provides intercity bus service via Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS), Greyhound Lines, and Sunway Charters. Location The facility is located at the intersection of Main and Oakland streets in the Downtown Gastonia Historic District; several of the brick commercial buildings, that surround the station, were built around the 1940s and are representative of the architecture of that time. CaroMont Regional Medical Center
CaroMont Regional Medical Center is a not-for-profit hospital located in Gastonia, North Carolina, United States. The hospital was organized in 1946 as a memorial to soldiers who died in World War II, and the present Court Drive facility opened in 1973. History Gaston Memorial Hospital was established in 1945 on North Highland Street, Gastonia. In the late 1960s, the hospital acquired 74 acres located between Cox Road and New Hope Road, which was adjacent to 112 acres owned by Gaston County. The hospital sold this land to Gaston County for $1, and the County built a new hospital facility. In 1970 Gaston Memorial Hospital also sold the county the original land and buildings located on North Highland, valued at $3 million, again for $1. Eastridge Mall (Gastonia)
Eastridge Mall (formerly known as Westfield Eastridge) is a regional shopping mall located in Gastonia, North Carolina, and is west of uptown Charlotte, North Carolina. Opened in 1976, it is located off Interstate 85 at exit 20, N. New Hope Road ( North Carolina Highway 279), and the mall houses around 70 stores. As part of the mall's sale, the mall reverted to its former name, Eastridge Mall. Anchors Belk Belk, formerly Matthews Belk, is an original anchor tenant of this mall. While the other anchor stores relocated during the late-1990s renovations, Matthews Belk anchor remained in place but underwent extensive interior renovation. JCPenney (closed July 31, 2017) JCPenney was an original anchor tenant of this mall, although the store is no longer in its original location.
