Gale Bishop
Robert Gale Bishop (June 4, 1922 – December 26, 2003) was an American professional basketball player. Born in Sumas, Washington, he played collegiately for the Washington State University. He played for the Philadelphia Warriors (1948–49) in the BAA for 56 games. The Washington State Cougars men's basketball team represents Washington State University and competes in the Pac-12 Conference (Pac-12) of NCAA Division I. The Cougars play their home games on campus in Pullman at Beasley Coliseum, which has a capacity of 12,058. They are currently led by head coach Kyle Smith (55-46).
