Gabard Fénélon
Gabard Fénélon (born 3 June 1981) is a Haitian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Canadian club CS Mont-Royal Outremont. Early years Fénelon was born in Tortuga (Île de la Tortue), a small Haitian island in the northwest of the country. At the age of fourteen, his football talents led him to Port-de-Paix, a major city adjacent to Tortuga, inland of Haiti across the coast to develop his skills. Having been significantly better than his peers his own age, he was played against players who were older. Arriving as a striker, his position was changed to goalkeeper at age sixteen at the regional level. Club career Fénelon played for Haitian League sides Racing Gonaïves and Racing Club Haïtien before moving to Miami FC at the start of the 2007 season. Tortuga Island (french: Île de la Tortue, ; ht, Latòti; es, Isla Tortuga, , ''Turtle Island'') is a Caribbean island that forms part of Haiti, off the northwest coast of Hispaniola. Futsal Goalkeepers
Futsal is a football-based game played on a hard court smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It has similarities to five-a-side football and indoor football. Futsal is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper. Unlimited substitutions are permitted. Unlike some other forms of indoor soccer, it is played on a hard court surface marked by lines; walls or boards are not used. It is played with a smaller, harder, lower-bounce ball than football. The surface, ball and rules favour ball control and passing in small spaces. The game emphasizes control, improvisation, creativity and technique. The 2015 Première ligue de soccer du Québec season is the fourth season of play for the Première ligue de soccer du Québec; the highest level of soccer based in the Canadian province of Québec and one of two Division 3 semi-professional soccer leagues in the Canadian soccer pyramid (the other being League1 Ontario). The Caribbean Cup was the championship tournament for national association football teams that are members of the Caribbean Football Union. The first competition, established by Shell and run by former England Cricket fast bowler Fred Rumsey, was contested in 1989 in Barbados. The Caribbean Cup served as a qualification tournament among CFU members for the CONCACAF Gold Cup. The Caribbean Cup replaced the CFU Championship competition which was active between 1978 and 1988. Trinidad and Tobago, eight-time winners, and Jamaica, six-time winners, were the most successful sides, winning a combined 14 of 18 titles.
