Gagan Narang (born 6 May 1983) is an Indian sport shooter, supported by the Olympic Gold Quest. He won the bronze medal in the Men's 10 m Air Rifle Event at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London with a final score of 701.1 on 30 July 2012. Early life and background Gagan was born to Bhimsen Narang and his wife Amarjit, in a Punjabi Hindu Arora family in Chennai on 6 May 1983. His father is a retired chief manager of the Air India. Gagan's family hail from the Simla Gujran village of Haryana's Panipat district. However, his father's job assignments made them to shift from Panipat to Hyderabad, where he was brought up. Gagan Kumar Thapa (born 19 July 1976) is a Nepali politician and youth leader, who is the current General Secretary of the Nepali Congress. He is currently serving as a Member of Parliament in the House of Representatives, Nepal from Kathmandu since 2008, and is currently in its Parliamentary Committee on Education and Health. Gaganchandra Dam ( bn, গগনচন্দ্র দাম; 1845–1910), mostly known as Gagan Harkara ( bn, গগন হরকরা), was a Bengali Baul poet after the tune of whose famous song " Ami Kothay Pabo Tare" (কোথায় পাবো তারে) Rabindranath Tagore composed " Amar Shonar Bangla", the national anthem of Bangladesh. Gagandeep Dosanjh (born 1 November 1990) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder. Club career Youth Born in Abbotsford, British Columbia to Pavinder and Gurpal Dosanjh, both Indian immigrants from Punjab. William Gagan (born in 1981) is an American photojournalist from San Francisco, California. He attended Redwood High School (Larkspur, California) and graduated in 1999. He then went on to pursue a bachelor's degree in communications at Dominican University of California which he received in 2003. Gagan Chandra Chatterjee was a North Indian classical violinist of the Senia Gharana who is known for inventing the ''gatkari'' style of North Indian classical violin. Early life and training Gagan Chandra Chatterjee was born in Allahabad on 1890. He learnt Hindustani classical music on sarod from the Senia gharana master Ustad Keramatullah Khan. However, he chose a different instrument for expressing the music he learnt.
