Gurusamy
''Gurusamy'' is a 2011 Indian Tamil-language Hindu mythological film directed by K. R. Vishnaanth and starring Manikandan, Udhayathara and Delhi Ganesh in the titular role. The movie is based on the devotees of Ayyappan. Plot Gurusamy narrates several small stories to his followers. He tells them of Subramani, a religious follower of Ayyappan, and his father, a loan shark. In an attempt to change his father's greed, Subramani climbs a mountain and puts a garland of flowers on it. Ayyappan protects people who were tricked by loan sharks and unable to pay the loan. He also tells them how Ayyappan reunited Poongodi and her abusive husband, Vembu. Vembu becomes a Ayyappan devotee and reforms, solving the couple's problems. Manikandan
Manikanda is an Indian actor who appears in Tamil language films. He has acted in films including ''Boys'' (2003) and '' Kicha Vayasu 16'' (2005). He had a career resurgence with ''Maharaja'' (2024). Career Manikandan, a visual communications graduate who had featured in Kala's dance troupe doing stage shows, was selected by Shankar to feature in his coming-of-age film ''Boys'' after impressing in auditions. Ganesan Mahadevan (1 August 1944 – 9 November 2024), known by his stage name Delhi Ganesh, was an Indian actor who mostly acted in supporting roles in Tamil cinema and serials. He was well known for the versatility of roles he played during his illustrious career. He acted in more than 400 films. He was given the stage name Delhi Ganesh by K. Balachander.
