Gudavi
Gudavi Bird Sanctuary is a tourist destination in Malenadu region of Karnataka, Sanctuary is spread over an area of 0.74 square km. It is part of Soraba Taluk of Shivamogga district in Karnataka. As per a 2009 survey, 217 different species of birds belonging to 48 families are found at this place. A natural lake and the trees gives shelter to these birds. It is a small seasonal lake and is filled with water mostly in the rainy season. Various avian species migrate from across the globe in different seasons for breeding. A platform is built for bird watchers to have a closer look at the birds. Darter
The darters, anhingas, or snakebirds are mainly tropical waterbirds in the family Anhingidae, which contains a single genus, ''Anhinga''. There are four living species, three of which are very common and widespread while the fourth is rarer and classified as near-threatened by the IUCN. The term ''snakebird'' is usually used without any additions to signify whichever of the completely allopatric species occurs in any one region. Yana, India
Yana is a tourist destination located in forest of Katgal Range, which is also a part of Malenadu region of Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka state in India. Yana is one of the wettest villages in the world. It is the cleanest village in Karnataka and the second cleanest village in India. The two unique rock outcrops after the village are tourist attractions and easily approachable by two routes one from Kumta-Sirsi Highway by a small trek through the thick forests from the nearest road head and another from Sirsi-Ankola Road. Yana is famous for these two massive rock outcrops known as the Bhairaveshwara Shikhara and the Mohini Shikhara ("Shikhara" means "mountain peak"). Sirsi Marikamba Temple
Sirsi Marikamba Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Marikamba Devi (Durga Devi), located in Sirsi, Karnataka, It is also known as Marigudi. It was built in 1688. Sirsi Shri Marikamba Devi is the "elder sister" of all Marikamba Devi's in Karnataka. Features The temple's façade, a 19th-century addition, is painted blue. After one enters through the façade, there is courtyard in the middle, which has cloisters surrounding it. The cloisters are filled with images of deities from the Hindu epics. The changes made inside the temple have hidden any evidence of older structures. The sanctum sanctorum has the central image of a fierce form of the goddess Durga, multi-armed (eight shoulders), riding a tiger and killing a demon. Hubli (officially Hubballi) is a city in the Indian state of Karnataka. The twin cities Hubli–Dharwad form the second largest city in the state by area and population and the largest city in North Karnataka.
