Gotham (TV Series)
''Gotham'' is an American television series developed by Bruno Heller, produced by Warner Bros. Television and based on characters from the Batman mythos in comic books published by DC Comics. The series premiered on Fox Broadcasting Company, Fox on September 22, 2014, and ended on April 25, 2019, after five seasons totalling List of Gotham episodes, 100 episodes. It features an ensemble cast that includes Ben McKenzie as Jim Gordon (Gotham), James "Jim" Gordon, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock (Gotham), Harvey Bullock, and David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne (Gotham), Bruce Wayne. The show follows Gordon's early days at the Gotham City Police Department following the murder of Bruce's parents, as well as the Origin story, origin stories of Batman's infamous List of Batman family enemies, rogues gallery. Crime film is a film belonging to the crime fiction genre. Films of this genre generally involve various aspects of crime and fiction. Stylistically, the genre may overlap and combine with many other genres, such as Drama (film and television), drama or gangster film, but also include Comedy film, comedy, and, in turn, is divided into many sub-genres, such as Mystery film, mystery, suspense or Film noir, noir.
