Godfred Yeboah
Godfred Yeboah (27 July 1980 – 3 August 2021) was a Ghanaian professional footballer who played as a defender. Career Yeboah played one season for BA United before joining Asante Kotoko. He spent most of his career with Asante Kotoko, staying from 2001 till 2009. He won three league titles in the 2003, 2005 and 2007–08 seasons, and the Ghanaian FA Cup in 2001. He moved from Asante Kotoko to All Stars F.C. on loan on 4 January 2008, along with the Asante Kotoko teammate Kobina Dodzie, while a third player, Habib Mohamed, moved permanently. Habib Mullah Mohamed or Muhammad (born 10 December 1983) is a Ghanaian former professional footballer who played as a left-back. Club career Mohamed was born in Tamale. He began his career in 2004 (?). He played for King Faisal Babes in Kumasi, helping the club to play well in the CAF Confederation Cup 2005. He also earned the MVP Award in the quarterfinals. In 2006, Mohamed had trial sessions abroad in Germany and Israel. After the 2006 World Cup, Mohamed was loaned out to Norwegian club Molde FK, with an option to buy him. He did not play any matches for the club in Tippeligaen, and returned after the 2006 season. The Ghanaian FA Cup, currently known as the MTN FA Cup for sponsorship purposes, is the top knockout tournament of the Ghanaian association football. The competition is played between the clubs of the Premier League, Division One League, Ghana Division Two League, Ghana Division Three League and GAFCOA. The first G.F.A. Cup competition took place in the season 1957–1958, with an eight years hiatus between the seasons 2002-2010.
