Bill Glasson (golfer)
William Lee Glasson Jr. (born April 29, 1960) is an American professional golfer who won several tournaments on the PGA Tour. Glasson was born in Fresno, California. He attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he was a member of the golf team – a two-time All-American. He turned pro in 1983 and led the PGA Tour for driving distance in 1984. Glasson has enjoyed nine victories as a professional golfer: seven official PGA Tour events and two non-official events. His first win came at the 1985 Kemper Open. Trailing seven strokes behind the leader Larry Mize with 14 holes to play, Glasson made a 45-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole for a round of 66 to finish one stroke ahead of Mize and Corey Pavin. Glasson won a second Kemper Open in 1992 fending off a playoff challenge from John Daly. His best finish in a major is a tie for 4th place at the 1995 U.S. Open. Glasson has over 60 top-10 PGA Tour finishes and has earned more than $6.7 million in career earnings. ...

William John Glasson (born 2 January 1953) is an Australian ophthalmologist. He was President of the Australian Medical Association 2003–05. He was an unsuccessful candidate for the Liberal National Party of Queensland in the contest for the seat of Griffith, held by the Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, in the 2013 federal election. He was again unsuccessful in the by-election held on 8 February 2014 as a result of Rudd's resignation from Parliament. Career Glasson was born in Winton, Queensland on 2 January 1953. Charlotte Glasson (born 1 March 1973, London, England) is a British multi-instrumentalist, bandleader, composer and session player, playing soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophone, flute, alto flute, piccolo, clarinet, bass clarinet, violin and viola, penny whistle, melodica, percussion, and saw. Early life Charlotte started playing the violin at the age of five, got a guitar when she was seven and taught herself how to play Beatle tunes, and then got a saxophone for Christmas when she was 12. Charlotte went on to study Music at Kingston University, after which she progressed into a career as a session musician, bandleader and composer/arranger. Franklin Clark Glasson (October 13, 1913 - January 2, 1994) was an American architect known for his design and construction of golf courses in the western United States primarily during the 1950s and 60s. Over his career Glasson designed, constructed (sometimes personally), and operated nine golf courses that are still in operation. Career Glasson was actively involved in the construction and operation of the courses he designed. He operated the Deep Cliff course in Cupertino, California from its construction in 1961 until its sale to a private golf course operator, John Telischak in 1992. In at least one instance, on the Fall River Mills course, he did the excavation and grading work himself. This course was built on the site of a former dump and was littered with "ice boxes, car bodies, and washing machines". Martin Jamie Glasson (born 21 May 1973) is a former English cricketer. Glasson was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm medium pace. He was born in Salisbury, Wiltshire. Glasson made his Minor Counties Championship debut for Wiltshire in 1995 against Devon. He is the chairman of Satori Investments Greater China and a life member of the Australia China Business Council, awarded for his many years' service leading the council's presence in China between 2008 and 2014.
