Ginetta G1
Ginetta G1 was a name applied retroactively to the Walklett brothers first effort, a homebuilt roadster based on the underpinnings of a pre-war Wolseley Hornet before Ginetta Cars was founded. As the Walkletts developed the Ginetta G2, they decided to start the numbering from their first build even though the car was no longer in existence. Ginetta Cars Limited is a British specialist builder of racing and sports cars based in Garforth, Leeds, West Yorkshire. History 20th century Ginetta was founded in 1958 by four Walklett brothers (Bob, Ivor, Trevers and Douglas) in Woodbridge, Suffolk. Woodbridge, Suffolk
Woodbridge is a port town and civil parish in the East Suffolk District, East Suffolk district of Suffolk, England. It is up the River Deben from the sea. It lies north-east of Ipswich and around north-east of London. In 2011 it had a population of 7,749. Wolseley Hornet Six
The Wolseley Hornet is a six-cylinder twelve fiscal horsepower lightweight automobile which was offered as a saloon car, coupé and open two-seater as well as the usual rolling chassis for bespoke coachwork. Produced by Wolseley Motors, Wolseley Motors Limited from 1930 until 1936, the Hornet was unveiled to the public at the end of April 1930. Wolseley had been bought from the receivers by Lord Nuffield, William Morris in 1927. This car's tiny six-cylinder engine, Motor Sport magazine, ''Motor Sport'' magazine described it as a miniature six, reflected the brief vogue for less vibratory 6, 8, 12 and 16 cylinder engines soon superseded by greatly improved flexible engine mountings. Maserati 4CL And 4CLT
The Maserati 4CL and its derived sister model the Maserati 4CLT are single-seat open-wheel Grand Prix racing cars that were designed and built by Maserati.
