Georgi Vangelov
Georgi Vangelov (born 29 July 1993) is a Bulgarian freestyle wrestler. He is a three-time bronze medalist at the European Wrestling Championships. He also represented Bulgaria at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan. Career In 2016, Vangelov won one of the bronze medals in the men's freestyle 57kg event at the European Wrestling Championships held in Riga, Latvia. In 2020, Vangelov won one of the bronze medals in the men's 61kg event at the Individual Wrestling World Cup held in Belgrade, Serbia. He lost his bronze medal match in the men's 57kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan. Vangelov won one of the bronze medals in the men's 61kg event at the 2022 European Wrestling Championships held in Budapest, Hungary. Radnevo
Radnevo ( ) is a town in southern Bulgaria, part of Stara Zagora Province, located in the eastern Upper Thracian Lowlands. It is the administrative centre of the homonymous Radnevo Municipality. As of December 2009, the town had a population of 13,384. The far east corner of Radnevo is the location of the Maritsa Iztok Complex, Maritsa Iztok-2 power station. Nikola Petroff
Nikola Petrov (), better known as Nikola Petroff, (19 December 1873 – 2 January 1925) was a Bulgarian wrestler. He was born in the town of Gorna Oryahovitsa, Bulgaria. On 20 July 1898, in New York City, he earned the title "Champion of America". In the next year in Vienna, he became the European Champion in Greco-Roman wrestling. In 1900, during the Exposition Universelle in Paris, he defeated the Frenchman Paul Pons and became a world champion. He fought in the First Balkan War. Dan Kolov
Doncho Kolev Danev () (26 December 1892 – 27 March 1940), better known by the ring name Dan Kolov (), was a Bulgarian professional wrestler born in Sennik, Bulgaria who was the first European freestyle wrestling champion from Bulgaria. He also won the European gold in 1936 in the championship in Paris, which was the second distinction for Bulgaria after the world title of Nikola Petrov (Greco-Roman wrestling) from 1900. He was inducted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame in 2020. Early years Doncho Kolev Danev was born on 27 December 1892 in the village of Sennik, Sevlievo municipality.
