General Iroh
Iroh (listed as Uncle in onscreen credits) is a fictional character in Nickelodeon's animated television series '' Avatar: The Last Airbender''. Created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, the character was voiced by Mako in the first two seasons and, due to Mako's death, by Greg Baldwin in the third season and the sequel series ''The Legend of Korra''. Iroh is a very powerful firebender—i.e., he has the power to telekinetically create and manipulate fire—and a retired general of the Fire Nation. He is the elder brother of Fire Lord Ozai, the ruler of the Fire Nation and leader of its campaign to conquer the other three nations. During the narrative of the series, he accompanies his exiled nephew Zuko on his quest to capture the series's protagonist Aang to restore the young prince's honor and birthright; Iroh acts as a mentor who seeks to help his nephew become a better person than his father. Shaun Toub (born February 15, 1958) is an American actor. He has played the character Yinsen in ''Iron Man'' (2008) and ''Iron Man 3'' (2013); Farhad in '' Crash'' (2004); Rahim Khan in '' The Kite Runner'' (2007); Majid Javadi in the Showtime television series ''Homeland;'' and Faraz Kamali in the Apple TV+ Israeli series ''Tehran'' (2020). Solar Eclipse
A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between Earth and the Sun, thereby obscuring the view of the Sun from a small part of Earth, totally or partially. Such an alignment occurs approximately every six months, during the eclipse season in its new moon phase, when the Moon's orbital plane is closest to Ecliptic, the plane of Earth's orbit. In a total eclipse, the disk of the Sun is fully obscured by the Moon. In #Types, partial and annular eclipses, only part of the Sun is obscured. The Tales Of Ba Sing Se
"The Tales of Ba Sing Se" is the 15th episode of the second season of the animated television series '' Avatar: The Last Airbender'', and the 35th episode overall. The episode, directed by Ethan Spaulding, originally aired on Nickelodeon on September 29, 2006. It features six short vignettes of several of the series's main characters as they go about a day in the city of Ba Sing Se. The episode constitutes a break from the previous more serious, plot-heavy episodes, and instead focuses on character development; the main plot of the season is advanced only in one of the six vignettes, the tale of the winged lemur Momo. The first tale, written by Joann Estoesta and Lisa Wahlander, is of Katara and Toph, who spend a day at the spa. The sage yet comedic Iroh's tale is next, written by Andrew Huebner; he helps various residents of Ba Sing Se, before making a tearful tribute to his son, who died in combat trying to conquer the city. Avatar Aang ( zh, c=安昂, p=Ān Áng), or simply Aang, is the titular protagonist of Nickelodeon's animated television series '' Avatar: The Last Airbender'' (created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko), voiced by Zach Tyler Eisen. Aang was the last surviving Airbender, a monk of the Air Nomads' Southern Air Temple, and the youngest ever airbending master (for his time).
