Gaon (restaurant)
Gaon (), stylized as GAON, is a fine dining restaurant in Seoul, South Korea. , it is the only South Korean restaurant to receive three Michelin stars for seven years in a row, from when the Michelin Guide Seoul first began to be published in 2016. In 2023, it went on an indefinite hiatus. Description The restaurant first opened in 2003. It is operated by the Gaon Society, a dining subgroup of the Korean pottery brand Kwangjuyo Group (); the restaurant features pottery from the brand. The restaurant closed several years later, and reopened in January 2015. In late 2016, when the Michelin Guide Seoul first began to be published, the restaurant received three stars. The restaurant's head chef is Kim Byoung-jin (). Kim studied traditional Korean cuisine at Hallym Polytechnic University in his native Chuncheon, and worked as a restaurateur for nearly 20 years by 2016. Sinsa-dong, Gangnam
Sinsa-dong () is a ward of Gangnam District, Seoul, South Korea. This district contains many department stores, hairshops, churches, boutiques, cafes and restaurants. Transportation The area is served by Sinsa station on the Seoul Subway Line 3, and Seoul buses. Education In Sinsa-dong, there are three schools: Singu Primary school (From Grade 1 to Grade 6), Sinsa Junior High school (From Grade 7 to Grade 9) and Hyundai Senior High school (Grade 10 to Grade 12). Chuncheon
Chuncheon (; ; literally ''spring river''), formerly romanized as Ch'unch'ŏn, is the capital of Gangwon Province, South Korea. The city lies in the north of the country, located in a basin formed by the Soyang River and Han River (Korea), Han River. Noryangjin Fisheries Wholesale Market or shortly Noryangjin Fish Market () is an extensive farmers fish market in the neighborhood of Noryangjin-dong in Dongjak District, Seoul, South Korea. It is located east of 63 Building, and just south of the Han River. Metro line 1 passes through at Noryangin station near-by. Exit the station at exit 1 and walk under the bridge. It is open 24/7.
