Galleria bus station, formerly Morley bus station, is a Transperth bus station located next to the Galleria Shopping Centre in Morley, Western Australia. It has 17 stands and is served by 17 Transperth routes operated by Path Transit, Swan Transit and Transdev WA. History Galleria bus station was opened as Morley bus station in August 1972 as the first bus station in the Perth metropolitan area. The current bus station was opened on 1 July 1994 by Stephen Smith, the federal member for Perth. The ceremony was also attended by Eric Charlton, the state government's Minister for Transport. The bus station was renamed Galleria bus station on 9 December 2024. Morley is a list of Perth suburbs, suburb of Perth, within the City of Bayswater local government area, situated approximately northeast of the Perth#Central business district, Perth central business district. It contains the Galleria Shopping Centre (Perth), Galleria Shopping Centre, one of Perth's larger shopping centres. Galleria bus station is located in the car park of the shopping centre. Alexander Heights, Western Australia
Alexander Heights is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia within the City of Wanneroo. Originally named in 1977 as "Alinjarra", an Aboriginal word for "north", this suburb was renamed Alexander Heights in 1987. The name is derived from Alexander Drive, the main arterial road into the area, which forms the suburb's eastern boundary. The road was in turn named after Mr S.B. Alexander, a former Wanneroo Road Board member. The suburb contains the Alinjarra Primary School, which covers from kindergarten to year 6. Whiteman Park Railway Station, Perth
Whiteman Park railway station is a suburban railway station on the Ellenbrook line in Perth, Western Australia. The station is located on the western side of Drumpellier Drive in Whiteman, and serves the surrounding suburbs of Brabham, Dayton, Henley Brook and West Swan, as well as the nature reserve and tourism destination of Whiteman Park. Whiteman Park station consists of an island platform located on a viaduct. The contract for the construction of the Ellenbrook line was awarded to Laing O'Rourke in October 2020 and construction began in 2022. Throughout 2023, viaduct bridge beams were being installed, and during 2024, cladding and fit out occurred. The station was completed in August 2024 and opened with the rest of the Ellenbrook line on 8 December 2024. Bassendean Railway Station
Bassendean railway station is a Transperth station located in Bassendean, north-east of Perth railway station, on the Midland Line. History In August 1906 a deputation from the West Guildford Roads Board spoke with the Minister for Railways JW Langsford, the minister was under the impression that the group were there to push for a station halfway between Guildford and Bayswater stations. The Minister explained that the Commissioner Mr George was opposed to a station at that location. Mr Georges had found that there was a requirement for a station one mile from Guildford and that the Commissioner would visit the spot to see for himself. In July 1907 sort another deputation from the Roads Board, local MLA Mr Johnson said he had already spoken with the Minister for railways who had agreed to visit the district.
