Gabriel Arias (shortstop)
Gabriel Alejandro Arias (born February 27, 2000) is a Venezuelan professional baseball shortstop for the Cleveland Guardians of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2022. Career Arias signed with the San Diego Padres as an international free agent in July 2016. He played his first professional season in 2017 with the Arizona League Padres and Fort Wayne TinCaps. After the season he played in the Australian Baseball League for the Canberra Cavalry. Arias played 2018 with the Fort Wayne and 2019 with the Lake Elsinore Storm. In 2020, he was invited to spring training with the Padres. The Lake Elsinore Storm are a Minor League Baseball team of the California League and the Single-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres. The Storm plays their home games at Lake Elsinore Diamond (Pete Lehr Field), which opened in 1994; the park seats 7,866 fans. Columbus Clippers
The Columbus Clippers are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League (IL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians. They are located in Columbus, Ohio, and are named for speedy merchant sailing vessels known as clippers. The team has played their home games at Huntington Park since 2009. Triple-A (officially Class AAA) has been the highest level of play in Minor League Baseball in the United States since 1946. Currently, two leagues operate at the Triple-A level, the International League (IL) and the Pacific Coast League (PCL). There are 30 teams, one per each Major League Baseball (MLB) franchise, with 20 in the IL and 10 in the PCL. Triple-A teams are generally located in smaller cities as well as larger metropolitan areas without MLB teams, such as Austin, Jacksonville, Columbus, and Indianapolis. Greg Lomack Allen (born March 15, 1993) is an American professional baseball outfielder in the Boston Red Sox organization. He made his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut with the Cleveland Indians in 2017 and has also played for the San Diego Padres, New York Yankees, and Pittsburgh Pirates.
