Johnny Gentle
John Askew (8 December 1936 – 29 February 2024), known as Johnny Gentle and later Darren Young, was a songwriter and crooner from Liverpool, England. Life and career John Askew was born on 8 December 1936 in Liverpool, where he also grew up. After leaving school he was apprenticed as a carpenter, and, using a borrowed book for instructions, made his own guitar. He teamed up with Bobby Crawford and the pair began performing at local clubs, singing Everly Brothers songs, before Askew took a job working on a luxury ocean liner. On his return, he entered talent competitions as a solo singer, and changed his stage name, first to George Baker and then to Ricky Damone. He moved to London and worked on a building site, before winning a talent competition at the Locarno Ballroom in Streatham. Peter Gentle
Peter Gentle (born ) is a former Australian rugby league coach and former footballer who played in the 1980s. Gentle is currently the Recruitment Manager of Manly Warringah Sea Eagles. Club career A halfback and St. George junior, Gentle played three games of first grade for St. George Dragons over two seasons between 1987–1988, featuring mostly in the lower grades. Prior to that, he had played for Mansfield Marksman in the Rugby Football League in England during the 1986–87 season. He is the son of former Western Suburbs Magpies and Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs coach, Ken Gentle. Mensur Suljović (Serbian Cyrillic: Менсур Суљовић; born 5 March 1972) is a Serbian-Austrian professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, where he reached a peak ranking of world number five in 2017. He previously participated in British Darts Organisation (BDO) tournaments. Suljović reached his first PDC major televised final in 2016, finishing as the runner-up at the European Championship. Gentle (Nezhno Abidemi) is a fictional mutant character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character has been depicted as a member of the student body of the Xavier Institute. Fictional character biography Xavier Institute / M-Day Prior to M-Day, he was part of Storm's unseen squad.
